Upcycled for Four Daughters Farm

According to The New York Times, nearly three-fifths of all clothing ends up in incinerators or landfills within a year of being produced. Beyond this, the Environmental Protection Agency found in 2013 that there were 15.1 million tons of textile waste, of which 12.8 million were discarded completely, while the average American throws away 70 pounds of clothing and other textiles each year.

In an effort to prevent some of this waste, Upcycled for Four Daughters Farm was born. We endeavor to take someone else's cast off and reimagine the fabric into fun, usable items. All of these items are made of at least 90% post-consumer or remnant materials and fabrics. Thus you may see some unusual cuts of material or occasional blemishes that don’t affect their use and add to their charm. No two pieces are alike. Many of these items are reusable in an effort to encourage sustainability.
